When you book tickets in advance, it can sometimes be the case that you are ultimately prevented from using them after all. In this case, you are covered by us, because all tickets purchased from us are currently FlexTickets. This means that you can change your tickets to another date or exchange them for a voucher up to 2 hours before the performance starts – without giving any reasons.
Please note: This service only applies to tickets purchased directly through Friedrichstadt-Palast, i.e. not booked through third-party providers (e.g. bus tour operators, travel agents, online booking platforms, etc.).

Our theater box office is located to the right of the main entrance of the Palast. Ticket collection and evening box office, always from 60 minutes before the performance starts.
Tickets can only be exchanged or returned if you booked them directly with us. Please contact the sales outlet you used otherwise (e.g. tour operator, external ticket office).
Where and how can I purchase FlexTickets?
You can purchase FlexTickets online, by calling the ticket hotline (030-2326 2327), via email ([email protected]) or in person at the theatre box office. When booking online, be sure to add the same number of FlexTickets to your basket as tickets.
How can I change tickets?
Either contact the ticket hotline or visit our theatre box office. Our staff can gladly help you find an alternative date or exchange your tickets for a voucher. Please note that exchanges are only possible during our service hours.
During which period can I change my booking?
Tickets can be changed up until 4 p.m. on the day before the date of the performance you originally booked by calling the ticket hotline or visiting the theatre box office.
Which tickets can I change my tickets for?
You can choose tickets for any performance of the same show on the dates available, usually 8–12 months in advance. You cannot exchange your show tickets for another event such as a guest performance or for tickets for the Young Show rather than the Grand Show. If you change your tickets to a show where the ticket prices are higher, then you will have to pay the difference. Conversely, if the ticket prices are lower, then you will receive the difference back as a voucher (or an upgrade should the difference be enough).
Tickets can alternatively be exchanged for vouchers. All vouchers can be redeemed for one of our Grand Shows and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, after which they expire. A payout is not possible.
How much will it cost me to change my tickets?
Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, you will automatically receive FlexTickets at no extra charge. The FlexTicket option does not have to be booked separately. No costs will apply for changing bookings.
Can I receive a refund without changing my tickets?
Tickets can only be refunded if the show is cancelled. In this case, we will refund 100% of the purchase price.
