Our aim is to become the most guest-friendly theater in Germany. Travelling to the Palast

 
When planning your travel to the Palast, please be aware that due to various events and construction activities, traffic in Berlin city area can be impaired and your journey might take more time. For more information, please click here.
  

Public transport

 

The Palast can be easily reached by public transport.

 

U-Bahn (metro)
Line U6, directly at U Oranienburger Tor

 

S-Bahn
Friedrichstraße station (S1, S2, S25, S5, S7, S75 and regional rail transport), five minutes by foot
Oranienburger Straße station (S1, S2, S25), five minutes by foot

 

Bus
Line 147, get off at Friedrichstraße/Reinhardtstraße
Line 142, get off at Torstraße/U Oranienburger Tor

 

Tram
Lines M1 and 12, get off at U Oranienburger Tor
Line M5, get off at S Oranienburger Straße, five minutes by foot

Arriving by car

 

Parking spaces are available directly outside the Palast (Johannisstraße and Kalkscheunenstraße) from one hour before the start of the show.

 

The spaces can be booked in advance by calling our ticket hotline (+49-30-2326 2327). A fee of €6 applies.

 

The nearest multi-storey car park (70 spaces, open 24/7, no reservation possible) is just 250 m from the main theater entrance at Reinhardtstraße 27a (ApartHotel Residenz Am Deutschen Theater). Please note that the automat pay terminals only accept Maestro debit cards.

At the Palast

Theatre box office

 

If you need to pick up your tickets: our box office is located 20 m to the right of the main entrance. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 06:30 p.m.  If there is an evening performance the box office stays open until 7:30 p.m.

 

Please note that 60 minutes before the start of the show, byers for the same day will have priority at the box office.

 

Palast opening times | Performance duration | Interval | Age recommendation

 

Doors open one hour before the start of the show. Please note that you are able to order drinks and snacks for the interval at the bar before the show starts. Allowing you to avoid lengthy queues during the interval.

 

The theatre hall doors will be opened at 07:10 p.m. for evening performances and at 03:10 p.m. for afternoon performances.

 

Inculding the 25-minutes interval, the show lasts approx. 2.5 hours.

 

We recommend the Grand Show for children aged 10+. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to our Grand Show.

 

Free cloakroom services for coats, jackets and large bags

 

Please note that for security reasons, it is not possible to take any jackets, coats and bags or rucksacks larger than 45x40x20 cm in size into the theatre hall with you. You are able to leave these in our cloakroom on the ground floor. A fee of €1.50 applies.

Photo and film footage

 

The recording of photo or film footage is not permitted during the performance, however films and photos for private use can be taken during the final applause.
