We are looking for

Audition dancing (kids first or second grade): open call without application. The next audition will be held on February 11, 2026 at 4 p.m. in the Friedrichstadt-Palast. Admission from 3:30 p.m. via main entrance. Please bring sportswear and suitable footwear.

Audition dancing, acting, singing (kids age 10-15): via online application form only. Audition by appointment only. Next audition: January 2026.

junges Ensemble (young ensemble)

Some 250 kids who live in Berlin and come from more than 20 nations, ages seven to 16, receive stage training here. Every year, over hundreds of children apply for the 20–30 spots. According to the motto of “Kids perform for kids,” they showcase their talents on the huge stage every winter season.

The junges Ensemble (young ensemble) has been conferred the Culture Prize by the State of Berlin as well as the German Children’s Cultural Award for outstanding achievements by the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk . In 2012, it received an honorary award from the children’s charity.
